Draeger Gas Detection is one of the big names in the world of in-situ gas detection and their portable Accuro manual pump for use with all Draeger tubes is the most simple and cost effective solution available.
Used with individual testing tubes, the Accuro requires very little maintenance and no calibration. All you need to do is break away the sealed ends of the premade Draeger test tubes, insert in to the pump and press down the number of times that’s indicated on the tube itself – usually 1-10 pumps, taking 10s to 3min for a complete test – detection tube dependent.
On using the pump to draw air through the test tube, the materials inside will turn a different colour, showing along a scale to give you an immediate concentration of the gas you’re looking to test.
Perfect for real world testing and for ongoing testing.

The Draeger Accuro pump is a quick, simple and easy to use piece of safety equipment for detecting gas concentrations in real world environments.
Used with single use test tubes, the Accuro pump can detect a wide range of gases for many industrial applications to ensure that personnel safety is high and getting real information for safety assessments for occupational exposure limits.
The Accuro pump is a simple hand held device, compatible with all Draeger test tubes and requires very little training, no calibration and is suitable for a wide range of test procedures.
These test systems can be used for a wide range of gases, our usual focus for using these tubes is for detection of gases produced by Plasma and Corona Treatment systems. Corona treatment generates ozone gas, while plasma treatment will generate NOx and Ozone gases – both systems may be above occupational exposure limits and real world testing is highly advised as individual rooms, air flow, extraction, dwell time and duty cycle will give unique readings.
See Gas Detection Tubes for available tubes for different applications.
